What sources and data do we use?

We process your personal data that we have received from you in the context of events and contacts via our website: Name, e-mail.

For events, we also collect the date and time of the event and the location.

What do we process your data for and on what legal basis?

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent (Section 6 Ia GDPR).

We use your data to send you our newsletter and information about the work of AK Rohstoffe. In it you will receive information about our work and information about events and publications from us and our partner organizations.

If you would like to receive these newsletters, we need your first and last name and a valid e-mail address. No further data will be collected. This data is only used for sending our newsletters and is not passed on to third parties. When you register for the newsletter, we save the date of registration so that we can document your consent to receive the newsletter.

What data is evaluated on our website?

We use the provider YouTube to embed videos. Like most websites, however, YouTube also uses cookies to collect information about visitors to its website. YouTube uses these to collect video statistics, prevent fraud and improve user-friendliness, among other things. This also leads to a connection being established with the Google DoubleClick network. When you start the video, this could trigger further data processing operations. We have no influence on this. Statistics

We use Matomo for our website, a tool for analyzing the number of visitors to our website. Matomo (https://matomo.org/), formerly known as Piwik, is a collaborative project of the Matomo team members, as well as many other supporters around the world. This tool also processes personal data, in particular the IP address. However, this is truncated by the last octet and then aggregated.
